Produced in Sacramento, Ca in 2003, this collection features live performances as well as home recordings of Gene reciting from a rather intimidating looking folder full of his works. From the profound to the profane, Gene Bloom never failed to touch us all...sometimes inappropriately.

This recording was released in a limited edition of 30 copies in 2003. These downloadable versions are free to all and we encourage you to spread the words of GENE BLOOM!

Gene Bloom Sacramento, California

Gene Bloom was the editor/publisher of Entrails magazine in the 1960's, one of the original small mimeo press publishers of that era. Among his countless live readings and contributions to magazines and small publications there are three books of his poems "12563 (Prison Poems)", "The Heart Wants What It Wants" and "East to West: A Love of Two Coasts."
